KINEX Tops 125mb of Bandwidth

With the recent connection to Level 3, Kinex now has one of the largest Internet pipes in the region and in this part of the state.  With our new connectivity to Level 3 through the MBC network, we now have 125 megabytes of bandwidth and soon will increase that to 145 megabytes, said Jim Garrett in a recent interview.  "In December we plan to turn up 24 megabyte DSL in Farmville, so we need large amounts of bandwidth.  Although we have this connectivity, not all of it goes through our data center.  In December we plan to have it all connected through our data center, which will make us the only provider in Farmville that has dual providers on multiple fiber routes out of Farmville, with redundant failover protection.   Businesses that connect will us will have an extra assurance of up time regardless of fiber cuts.  One major business in town has already contracted with us to insure their Internet up time is as reliable as possible."
