Kinex Moves Forward
Kinex announced today that the SCC had accepted its packet for review and hearings to become a telephone company licensed to provide service in Virginia. "Public notice will be published in the local paper this week, as well as the Washington Post and other papers across the state," remarked Jim Garrett at a conference today. He also announced Kinex had expanded modem service to Lynchburg and Richmond and FasKinex Wireless to Keysville. On March 1st, Kinex will premiere the new accelerated FasKinex Dialup that will deliver browsing speeds up to 5 times the speed of normal dialup. "We have been testing it for almost a week now and are very pleased with the results", said Garrett.
