Disabled LAN Connection

If your dsl connection goes out make sure that your local area connection(LAN) is not disabled. To check tis simply go to "START" --> "Control Panel" --> "Network Connections".

Once on the network connections page you will see the Local area connection icon. Double click on it and the status box will come up.

In the status box it will show the status of the connection, that screen is where it will show "enabled" or "disabled".

Close the local area connection status box and right click on the local area connection icon this time and choose the "enable" option. It will start to enable the device, and acquire the address you need to get back online.

This may not always be the problem so be sure to check the other dsl support resolutions, or call in for technical support.
