Rebooting Your Modem
If you lose your connection to the internet and you are a DSL subscriber, try rebooting your modem.
Most of the time the outages customers encounter with DSL are from a modem that has locked up and just needs to be reset.
To do this simply unplug the power cable from the back of the modem (the box we supplied you) and plug it back in. Allow 1 to 2 minutes for the modem to reboot, then repeat the process for any routers or switches you might have (wireless routers, 4-port hubs, etc.) If the internet does not come back up after this, restart your computer as a last step.
This is not always the case, so be sure to check the other DSL support resolutions. You can also call in for technical support.
