Setup for the Outlook E-Mail client (not outlook express)
Setting up Outlook for Email
This will walk you through configuring the Outlook E-Mail client. If you have Outlook Express, Use the Outlook Express instructions on the previous page.- Open Outlook by clicking on the Start menu, then Programs, then Microsoft Outlook
- If this is the first time you are setting up Outlook for your computer the outlook wizard should automatically pop up. If you don't see it right away, go into the Tools Menu and Select E-mail Accounts.
- Select "Add a new e-mail account," then click "Next"
- Under "Server type" choose POP3, then click "Next"
- Fill in the information for "Internet E-mail Settings pOP3" Enter your full e-mail address (username@kinex.net).
- Fill in the Incoming mail server (POP#) as: pop3.kinex.net
- Fill in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) as: smtp.kinex.net
- Click Next then click Finish
