Can't receive email on Dial-up, using Outlook express
If you use Outlook Express, or Microsoft Outlook, press the send/receive and see no mail being downloaded you might have gotten a message larger than you can pull down on dial up.
The easiest way for the user to fix this is to open a web browser (Internet Explorer or "the big blue E") and type in the address bar our website, www.kinex.net.
Once you are at our website look at the left side of the web page for a box labeled "check mail", and under it a blank space for your user name and password. Put in the user name and password for the email account that you can't receive mail on and hit the "go" button.
You will be redirected to the your web mail. Here you can see all of the mail you have on the server at that current time. Each email will show who it is from, the date it was received, the subject, and the size.**
The size should never include a "M" at the end of the number. If you have an email with an "M" after a number it will be too large to be pulled down on dial up and should be deleted, or read from the web page so that your outlook express doesn't attempt to pull it down. After it is deleted, or read online, you can go back to your Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook and press the send/receive button again. Your mail should be coming in now.
If you continue to experience problems be sure to check the other email support resolutions here on the website, or call in for technical support.
**If you do not see the size column click on the options icon. Once in Options click on Index Order. Once In Index Order choose size on the drop down box and press add. Return to your Inbox page and you will see size in the list of columns.
