"My email connects, but I cannot download all of the messages. Sometimes duplicate messages are downloaded."
The most likely cause of this problem is at least one very large
message in your inbox. On a dial-up connection, you may experience
time-outs because of this. The reason that you may be seeing duplicate
messages is because the server does not delete new messages until they
are all
downloaded. Since the large message will not download, it will resend
all new messages each time the mail is checked. The solution to this
problem is to login to your email via the web (instructions are here). Once you are in, you can view the message that is causing the problem, and delete it.
